Sasha Haswell

My name is Sasha, and I have been passionate about working with children since secondary school. During Year 10, I completed my work experience at a day nursery. After leaving school, I attended college to study childcare. However, I had to leave before completing my course due to my pregnancy with my first child. I took a break to focus on being a mum to my daughter, who is now 12, and my son, who is now 8.

In 2018, I started working as a lunchtime support staff at a primary school, where I worked for four years. I was then allowed to begin an Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship at the same school, where I worked with 3-4-year-olds. During this time, I gained valuable experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those with health conditions such as epilepsy and diabetes.

I truly enjoy supporting children in their developmental progress and witnessing their milestones. Children never cease to amaze me. I believe that they are the future, and as a practitioner, I dedicate myself to helping them be their very best.
